The Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences proved to set new records while temperatures dropped to -4 degrees Celsius. They took the Electric RaceAbout prototype sports car on the frozen Lake Ukonjärvi in the north of Finland to set top speed records of 260 km/h.

Audi's 'electric heart' comes from Williams Hybrid Power
The recently unveiled Audi R18 e-tron quattro, the first hybrid Le Mans racer by the German firm, is equipped by an innovative and ultra-lightweight electric flywheel from Williams Hybrid Power. The system will provide 150kW of power and has a top rotor speed of 45,000 rpm. Read more
