The new fully-electric racing series Formula E cannot complain about the credibility it has built during the past months. The championship can count on ten top teams including the participation of team members and directors that have been working in Formula 1, like four-time F1 champion Alain Prost (e.DAMS), Super Aguri and Virgin Racing. Former F1 stars and up and coming drivers are likely to be announced early next year. But what about Red Bull Racing? Some motorsports fans are wondering if they would have interests in a new racing series, or a new challenge after winning everything with Sebastian Vettel.

Vettel expressed his concerns about the lack of noise Formula E cars producing, and is likely never to participate. But his team is having a close look at the series’ first season. Motorsportsboss Dr. Helmut Marko told Bild am Sonntag: “They have asked us to participate, but we are concentrating at Formula 1 at the moment. We do want to follow the series and review their first season.”
