The Miami Formula E Grand Prix is due to be held in March 2015 and therefore interests increases to find out details of the street tracks. The possible and most likely place to host an event of the fully-electric racing series in Miami will be near the American Airlines Arena and include the Biscayne Boulevard.

The location seems suitable because of the nice backdrop, near a park and plenty of four and five star hotels nearby. Also the infrastructural access has proved to be great as the area also hosted CART and American Le Mans races in 2002 and 2003, moving 40,000 visitors in and out of the area at that time.

You will find the American Airlines Arena on the bottom of the illustration, from there going north racing alongside Bicentennial Park and to return on the same Biscayne Boulevard.

Alejandro Agag, CEO of Formula E, told local media earlier today that he expects 25,000 visitors for the first event, 14,000 from outside the area, with the one-day race bringing $10 million revenue to the community.

Local organiser Andretti Sportsmarketing was not able to confirm details.

He does not doubt on the possibility of a break through of electric racing. And that deserves a platform to keep up to date and to interact. Tim operates on behalf of Formula Blue Media.
