Association des Véhicules Électriques du Québec has discovered the FIA Formula E Championship’s weekend time schedule. Each weekend will feature two 45-minute practice sessions during the morning, a one hour qualifying session around lunch time and the race will start at 16:00 hour local time.

This time schedule is slightly different in comparison with what was earlier announced. Instead of a one hour practice session, drivers will be able to learn the track in two 45-minute sessions. Qualifying was suppose to last for 90 minutes, but has been scheduled for one hour according to this information. Drivers are likely to be divided in groups of five to minimise the risk of being caught in traffic.

Broadcasting could take as long as two hours as it will start thirty minutes before the start of the race and ends at 17:30 hour local time. The race would have a running time of 45 minutes, while official information states that the race length will be approximately one hour.

The gaps in the time schedule could be useful filled in with support races, demonstrations and other entertainment like a drivers parade. With finishing the race and ceremony at 17:30 hour, evening entertainment is likely to start around that time.

Interesting: the to be announced race between Buenos Aires and Miami has been scheduled in the same time zone as the event in Argentina.

During the race:
Practice Session 1: 8:15 hr to 9:00 hr (local time)
Practice Session 2: 10:30 hr – 11:00 hr (local time)
Qualifying: 12:00 hr – 13:00 hr (local time)

Broadcasting:
Begins at 15:30 hr and ends at 17:30 hr (local time)
Running time: 45 minutes
The race start is at 16:00 hr (local time)
