Electric cars are hot. Global sales of zero emission vehicles are increasing and new prototypes are being developed. We soon might see an electric supercar from Italy, the country that is known for its beautiful sports vehicles. Tecnicar is developing the Lavinia and could challenge the well known Tesla Model S, the Croatian supercar Rimac Concept_One or the Amrican Renovo Coupe.

Basic information has been released by the Italian manufacturer, next to the stunning render images. The Tecnicar Lavinia should sprint to 100 km/h from stand still in 3,5 seconds and continues accelerating to approximately 300 km/h. Nothing is known about the battery pack and the expected range but the 800 hp strong supercar does captivates the minds of all electric race car fans.

Mark April 2015 in your calendar. The Tecnicar Lavinia is planned to be officially revealed by then.
