The FIA Formula E Championship revealed the entry list for the third round which will be held in Punta del Este, Uruguay. No unexpected changes can be found as Chinese driver Ho-Pin Tung already announced to miss this event due to racing commitments made prior to the start of the season. He will be replaced by Antonio Garcia from Spain, who is the official test driver for China Racing Formula E Team and has driven the Spark-Renault SRT_01E during pre-season testing.

“I’m looking forward to my first Formula E race. The track is new for everyone so for me the main challenge is going to be learning the car, in particular managing the battery,” Garcia told the organisation. “Having two races under his belt, Nelson [Piquet] should help me with this, as well as being able to analysis his data from Beijing and Putrajaya to help me get up to speed. During testing at Donington, I felt comfortable in the car and was lapping within the top five, so that’s where we hope to be fighting in Punta del Este. I guess I now need to start promoting myself for FanBoost!”

Tung confirmed to ElectricAutosport.com that he will finish the season for his team.
