Former Formula E champion Sebastien Buemi topped the timesheet on the second day of pre-season testing at Circuit Ricardo Tormo. The Renault e.dams driver was less than a tenth quicker in comparison to Mahindra’s Felix Rosenqvist.

Oliver Turvey, fastest on the opening day, was ranked third slightly behind DS Virgin’s Sam Bird. Buemi’s team mate Nico Prost was ranked fifth, putting his Renault e.dams in front of Audi Abt rivals Lucas di Grassi and Daniel Abt – who were second and third in the afternoon session.

Former Formula 1 driver Ryo Haryanto drove it’s first public laps in the single seater. The Indonesian driver got behind the wheel of the organisation’s Spark-Renault SRT_01E to receive a first taste of Formula E.

The course was modified in comparison to the first day as the drivers were forced to navigate between a second chicane. It added three seconds to their best times. However, it didn’t prevent drivers from crashing. Turvey and Venturi’s James Rossiter collided with the chicane. Another red flag was shown after Jean-Eric Vergne had spun at turn five.
